This year many Indian cricketers had come to watch the Wimbledon 2025 match. Recently, Indian T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav also joined this list. During this, Surya had told about his love for tennis and his favorite player. Surya had expressed his desire to form a doubles team in tennis with MS Dhoni. Surya had chosen Dhoni as his tennis doubles partner.
While talking to a sports channel, Surya took Dhoni’s name when he was asked which cricketer he would choose as his doubles partner. Surya said, “Dhoni has pace, power and most importantly – he has a very quick mind. He is mentally very strong, and lately whenever he is free from cricket, I see him playing tennis, so yes, without any hesitation it must be Dhoni.”
Surya had come to watch Wimbledon for the first time. Surya said, “This is my first experience and I wanted everything to be perfect. To be honest, my wife takes great care of me. She has been with me for the last three-four days, helping me decide what to wear for this amazing tournament. Many people have come, I am also one of them, I have just come to experience what they are doing.”
Surya said that he had come only to see Novak Djokovic. Surya said that among his old players he had Roger Federer and Pete Sampras. But his all-time favorite player is Djokovic. At the same time, he likes Carlos Alcaraz a lot.
