Sharad Pawar Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence inaugurated in Baramati

Speaking at the inauguration of Vidya Pratisthan’s Sharad Pawar Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence in Baramati, Maharashtra, Gautam Adani said that India has reached such an era where it is necessary to move technology, talent and national thinking together.

Balance between institutions and vision is India’s greatest strength

Addressing students and researchers, Gautam Adani said that India’s greatest strength has always been the balance between people, institutions and vision. This same thinking should now be visible in the field of Artificial Intelligence also. He asked the youth to see themselves not as consumers of Artificial Intelligence, but as creators and leaders.

India’s digital revolution has enhanced human potential

Talking about the apprehensions about Artificial Intelligence, he said, ‘History gives us confidence. Every major technological revolution, be it the industrial age or India’s digital revolution, has enhanced human potential. Artificial Intelligence will take this process further, where intelligence and productivity will reach the common people and youth of every section will be able to contribute to the progress of the country.

Leadership in Artificial Intelligence cannot be left to anyone else

Gautam Adani clearly said that leadership in Artificial Intelligence cannot be left to anyone else. In today’s times when technological intelligence is determining economic power and global influence, relying on foreign algorithms can be risky. Technical capability along with data and its decision making process should be linked to India’s interests. Indigenous Artificial Intelligence models, strong computer capability and self-reliant intelligence systems are the foundation of India’s economic security, cultural self-confidence and strategic independence.

Adani Group Global Playing an active role in the AI ecosystem

In this context, he said that Adani Group is playing an active role in the global Artificial Intelligence ecosystem. The group is investing heavily in data centres, digital infrastructure and clean energy, which powers large computer systems. For this reason, India is being seen as an emerging center of Artificial Intelligence based development and global tech leaders like Google and Microsoft are continuously associating with India.
