According to the divisional organization in-charge of the union, Lakhan Lal Nishad, the District Education Department has sent a letter to the Director of Primary Education, Patna for guidance regarding giving the benefit of grade pay to the teachers from the date of promotion and termination date. This topic has also been discussed through video conferencing and it is expected that soon clear instructions will be issued from Patna level.

Promotion process will speed up

Let us tell you that during the talks, it was agreed to give time bound promotion, graduate promotion and headmaster promotion to the employed teachers. The DEO said that necessary guidance has been sought in this regard, so that the process can be completed without any hindrance. Thousands of teachers are likely to get financial and promotional benefits from this.

Relief on allowances and arrears payment

Another good news for teachers is that the salary for the month of December has been paid along with 58 percent dearness allowance and housing allowance. The remaining difference amount has also been said to be paid within the stipulated time limit. At the same time, payment of remaining arrears of special teachers is also in the final stage.

Resolution on issues related to salary, leave and allowances

Necessary letters have been issued for matters related to medical leave, maternity leave and salary payment. The concerned teachers will be able to complete the payment process by applying in the Block Education Officer office. Apart from this, teachers working within a radius of eight kilometers of Nagar Panchayat limits will also get the benefit of increased housing allowance after application.

Consensus also reached on technical problems and cuts

It has been assured that the technical problems being faced in EPFO ​​contribution will be resolved soon. Teachers whose salaries have been cut due to errors in e-Shiksha Kosh will be reviewed and paid. It has also been agreed to return the salary deducted during the protest in Patna in February 2024 after the application.
