Big fall in market cap, 7 big companies lost ₹ 35,439 crore, know who lost the most

Sensex Top-10 Companies Market Cap: Even though the Sensex closed on a strong note in the stock market last week, this week was not particularly good for the country’s biggest companies. Out of the top-10 companies, the market cap of 7 companies decreased, while only 3 companies remained profitable. Overall, seven companies suffered a loss of Rs 35,439 crore, while the remaining three made a profit of Rs 22,113 crore.

Government bank SBI suffered the biggest blow. Its market cap decreased by about Rs 12,692 crore. Apart from this, Reliance Industries suffered a loss of about Rs 8,255 crore. The market cap of Bajaj Finance declined to Rs 5,102 crore.

Shock of Rs 2,571 crore to ICICI Bank

Apart from this, L&T suffered a loss of Rs 4,003 crore, ICICI Bank’s value declined by Rs 2,571 crore, LIC suffered a loss of Rs 1,803 crore, TCS’s market cap declined by Rs 1,013 crore. There was a clear impact of market weakness and caution of investors on these companies.

Which companies showed strength?

Although there was a declining atmosphere in the market, there were some big companies which showed strength. The market cap of HDFC Bank increased by about Rs 10,127 crore. Apart from this, Infosys, which is included in the list of famous IT companies of the country, made a profit of Rs 6,627 crore. At the same time, Bharti Airtel also registered a gain of Rs 5,360 crore. Investors’ confidence in these shares remained intact, due to which they escaped loss.

Who is ahead in the ranking of top companies?

In terms of market cap, Reliance Industries still remains at number one. After that HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel are at number three. However, despite the decline, these companies remain market giants.
