PM Modi arrives to bless Neeraj Chopra and Himani Mor’s reception, celebrities fair organized in Delhi

After a reception in Karnal on Friday, the second reception was in Delhi today in which PM Narendra Modi also attended.

Neeraj Chopra News: In January this year, Neeraj Chopra surprised everyone by marrying Himani Mor, because no one had any idea that Neeraj was going to get married. Now after almost a year of marriage, a reception was organized for both of them. The first reception was held in Karnal on December 26, while the second reception was held today at The Leela Palace in Delhi. According to reports, many celebrities attended the Delhi reception, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Meanwhile, Haryana CM Nayab Saini was present at the reception held in Karnal on Friday.

Neeraj and Himani had met Prime Minister Modi a few days ago at his residence 7 Lok Kalyana Marg. PM Modi had also shared his photo with the two and wrote in his social media post, “Today met Neeraj Chopra and his wife Himani Mor at their home at 7 Lok Kalyana Marg. We discussed many issues, including sports.”

Neeraj and Himani got married in a private ceremony in January this year. Himani is a former tennis player and has a degree in Sports Management from Franklin Pierce University, New Hampshire. Apart from this, he has also studied Political Science and Physical Education from Miranda House, Delhi.

Neeraj created history

Neeraj Chopra is the first Indian player to win an Olympic gold medal in athletics. He created history by winning the gold medal in Tokyo Olympics 2020. Gold was expected from him in Paris Olympics 2024 also, but he brought only silver medal. Apart from this, Neeraj has also won gold medals in the World Championship and Diamond League.
