Kerala CM said Bulldozer Raj, then how did Siddaramaiah and DK show their arrogance?: – ..
News India Live, Digital Desk: There is an old saying in politics that the enemy’s enemy is his friend. But in Karnataka, something opposite has been seen. Here, when it came to the honor of the house (state), the two ‘rival’ brothers of the house (Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar) united and gave a befitting reply to the neighbor.
Today we are talking about the same ‘Bulldozer’ Which is now emerging from North India and gathering dust on the roads of the South. The issue is hot, let us understand in simple language why this noise is being made from Bangalore to Kerala.
What is the matter? (What’s the Drama?)
The story starts from ‘Yelahanka’, an area of Bangalore. There the administration used bulldozers to remove illegal encroachment. It is reported that this land was a garbage dumping yard, on which slums had been built. The administration removed him.
Now here enters the Chief Minister of neighboring state Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan of. Vijayan Saheb wrote a long post on social media. He alleged that the Congress government in Karnataka was adopting “bulldozer culture” and targeting poor Muslims/minorities. He called it the “North India Model”.
Just what then! Congress ruled Karnataka did not like this comparison at all.
‘Double attack’ of Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar
We often hear in the news that everything is not going well between CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar. But Vijayan’s statement linked these two like Fevicol. Both of them together took charge.
DK Shivakumar So appeared in full aggressive mode. He scolded Vijayan and said, “Hey brother! We are not running bulldozers considering any caste or religion. That is government land and people were living there on garbage heaps, which was dangerous for their health. You are a neighbour, it does not mean that you will say anything without knowing the reality.”
There itself, CM Siddaramaiah He also made it clear that his government is with the poor, but illegal occupation of government land will not be allowed. He said, “There is no ‘bulldozer rule’ here, this was just a legal action. Don’t make it out of unnecessary importance.”
What is ‘Inside Story’?
Two big things emerge from this fight:
- Narrative of South vs North: Pinarayi Vijayan deliberately used the term “North Indian Model”. This is a sensitive issue in southern politics. He wanted to show that Congress is now adopting BJP’s methods.
- Rift in alliance: Don’t forget that at the national level, Congress and Left (Vijayan’s party) are together in ‘INDIA’ alliance. But in the states they leave no opportunity to pull each other’s legs.
The message of Karnataka’s leaders is very clear – “Take care of your house, do not interfere in our matter.”
What about the general public?
Politics has its place, but the pain of those families whose houses have been broken is also real. Even if it is encroachment, losing the roof over one’s head is painful. The government is saying that it will make arrangements for rehabilitation, but how much and when it will happen is a big question.
At present, political heat has increased in the air of South India. A bulldozer has definitely soured the relations between two states.
your opinion matters!
Friends, what do you think? Was it right for Kerala CM to speak about another state’s matter? Or is DK Shivakumar’s anger justified? Let us know by commenting, the discussion should continue!
