New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi, in his last Mann Ki Baat of the year on Sunday 28 December 2025, has warned people against antibiotics. Regarding the consumption of antibiotics in Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi said that he wants to talk about such an issue, which has become a matter of concern for everyone. PM Modi mentioned the recent report of the Indian Council of Medical Research i.e. ICMR. He said that this report states that antibiotics are proving weak against many diseases like pneumonia and UTI.

He said that according to the report, the main reason for this is people’s consumption of antibiotics without thinking. PM Modi said that antibiotics are not medicines which can be taken casually. He advised people to use antibiotics only after consulting a doctor. PM Modi said that nowadays people have started believing that just take one pill, every problem will go away. This is the reason why diseases and infections are taking a toll on these antibiotics.

PM Narendra Modi also talked about youth power in Mann Ki Baat. He said that today the world is looking at India with new hope and the reason for India’s hopes is its youth power, our achievements in science and technology. PM Modi said that the youth of India have a passion to do something new and they are equally aware. The youth ask me how they can contribute to the development of the country. PM Modi said that the solution to the curiosity of our young friends is the Young Leader Dialogue. Its first edition was released recently and now its second edition will come soon. I will also definitely participate in this. In this, our youth will share their views on important topics like innovation, fitness, agriculture. It is good to see that the participation of youth is increasing in this. He said that there is concern that robots might replace humans. I feel happy that the next generation is preserving the roots of their culture well.
