Amit Shah in preparation for assembly elections, Home Minister will go on a 15-day tour of four election states
Tezzbuzz Desk- Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a tour of election states for the next 15 days from Sunday. During this, he will hold extensive meetings with party leaders and organization officials to finalize the election strategy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Assembly elections are to be held in these states next year.
After the victory of NDA in Bihar assembly elections, BJP has now started preparing to repeat the same strategy in other election states. According to party sources, Home Minister Amit Shah has already prepared a detailed election roadmap for these four states.
A senior official of the BJP’s organizational unit said that Amit Shah will visit Assam on December 28 and 29, West Bengal on December 30 and 31, Tamil Nadu in the first week of January and Kerala in the second week of January.
According to sources, Amit Shah will spend at least two days in these states every month till the elections are over. During these tours, he will work on strengthening the organization at the grassroots level, improving booth management and the strategy to win the elections.
Except Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala currently have non-NDA governments. In such a situation, BJP is paying special attention to expanding the organization and strengthening the support base in these states.
The Home Minister will hold organizational meetings with the core team of the party during his visits. There will be a special focus on activating Panna Pramukhs and effectively implementing the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Strong’ campaign. Apart from this, he will also communicate directly with the party workers.
According to BJP leaders, an important part of Amit Shah’s election strategy is to have better coordination with the alliance partners and convince the rebel leaders of the party in time. Its purpose is to ensure that no leader harms the NDA’s vote share by contesting as an independent candidate.
It is said that during Bihar elections, Amit Shah had personally talked to about 100 rebels and created an atmosphere in favor of the party.
BJP leaders say that the visit to these four states will not be limited only to strengthening the organization, but its important objective is to understand the ground situation and prepare an effective response to the narrative of the opposition parties.
The party is also formulating strategies to counter the alleged confusion being spread by the opposition on rural employment, ‘Vikas Bharat’ campaign, employment rates and socio-economic issues.
BJP sources claim that with the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the strategic role of Amit Shah, the party is working towards repeating the success like Bihar in these election states.
