This year’s calendar is based on the theme of ‘Mahatari Pride Year’ and strong and prosperous Chhattisgarh.
Raipur News: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released the government calendar for the year 2026 at the Chief Minister’s residence office in the capital Raipur. The year 2026 is being celebrated as ‘Mahtari Gaurav Varsh’ by the state government. Based on this theme, this calendar expresses the resolve for a strong and prosperous Chhattisgarh.
On the main page of the calendar, the holy places of five major Shaktipeeths of Chhattisgarh – Maa Bamleshwari Dongargarh, Maa Mahamaya Ratanpur, Maa Danteshwari Dantewada, Maa Chandrahasini Chandrapur and Maa Kudargarhi Surajpur have been given prominent place. Along with this, photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai are also mentioned. In the background, attractive graphical models of the temples of Sirpur and Rajim, tribal culture, Madheshwar mountain and Chitrakote waterfall have been included, which are a symbol of the rich cultural and natural heritage of Chhattisgarh.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai said, “Respect and empowerment of mother power is the highest priority for the state government. This year, being celebrated as Mahtari Gaurav Varsh, is dedicated to the respect, safety and economic self-reliance of women. Keeping this spirit in mind, this government calendar has been prepared as a strong symbol of women empowerment, priorities of the state and our achievements. Public welfare schemes and social concerns have been included in it, which will play an important role in building a strong and prosperous Chhattisgarh. Will fulfill.”
Theme wise schemes and campaigns have been included in various monthly pages of the calendar. The main Shaktipeeths of the state have been shown on the page of the month of January. The month of February has been dedicated to the National Intensive Pulse Polio Campaign, while the month of March has been dedicated to the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana in the month of April, Tendupatta Collection and Charan Paduka Yojana in the month of May, and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign in the month of June have been given prominence. In the month of July, the arrangement for PDS ration card in the name of the female head has been shown. Rakshabandhan festival has been given place in the month of August, Didi E-Rickshaw Support Scheme in September and honoring bravery in the month of October. The month of November has been presented with the spirit of “Service is Resolve”, while the month of December has been shown as a symbol of women empowerment.
