Alliance between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar could not be formed for the elections of municipal corporations of Maharashtra including BMC, these problems got stuck, Sources say No Alliance Between Sharad And Ajit Pawar of ncp for bmc and municipal corporation elections in Maharashtra

Mumbai For the past few days, there was talk that talks were going on between Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar to form an alliance for the 29 municipal corporation elections of Maharashtra including BMC. Now news channel Aaj Tak has reported quoting sources that alliance talks between Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar have broken down. According to the channel, after talks with Ajit Pawar broke down, Sharad Pawar is again preparing to contest BMC and other municipal corporation elections under Mahavikas Aghadi.

According to the news, Ajit Pawar did not accept many of Sharad Pawar’s demands. Sources have told the channel that Ajit Pawar wanted that in case of alliance, the candidates of Sharad Pawar group should also contest the elections on the party symbol ‘Ghari’. At the same time, Sharad Pawar wanted Ajit Pawar to give 68 seats to his faction. Sources say that Ajit Pawar refused to accept this demand of uncle Sharad Pawar. Earlier, Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule had indicated that there could be an alliance with Ajit Pawar for the BMC and Municipal Corporation elections in Maharashtra. Supriya Sule had told that talks are going on between both the factions.

Ajit Pawar rebelled against Sharad Pawar and joined BJP and Shiv Sena. Because of which Ajit Pawar became the Deputy CM of Maharashtra. At the same time, the Election Commission has considered Ajit Pawar’s faction as the real NCP and has given it permission to use the clock election symbol of the party. Recently, when Nagar Panchayat and Kshetra Panchayat elections were held in Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar’s faction won more seats than Sharad Pawar’s NCP faction. Apart from this, Sharad Pawar had suffered a major setback against Ajit Pawar’s party in the Maharashtra Assembly elections also. In such a situation, perhaps Ajit did not like to accept Sharad Pawar’s conditions. At the same time, Sharad Pawar also did not want to field his candidates under the clock election symbol. This was also a major reason for not forming an alliance with Ajit Pawar.
