Desk. Tamil cinema superstar Thalapathy Vijay is in the headlines for his upcoming film ‘Jana Nayakan’. This film will be released in Hindi as ‘Jan Neta’. Recently its grand audio launch event was organized in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which was attended by the cast and producers of the film. On this occasion, Vijay revealed why he is deciding to leave cinema and acting.

During the event, Vijay said that he has decided to stand up for his fans. He said that it is because of his fans that he has got everything, even a ‘kottai’ (fort or citadel). Vijay said emotionally, “When I entered the film industry, I thought I would just be building a small sand house. But you all have built a magnificent palace for me.” He assured that he is leaving cinema for the fans who have sacrificed so much for him.

Vijay gave special thanks to the Malaysian audience and said that to be successful in life, one does not need friends but a powerful enemy. He also said that only if there is a powerful enemy, you become even stronger. Vijay appealed to the audience to welcome the historic change that will take place in 2026.
Main cast and release date of the film
The film ‘Jana Nayakan’ is directed by H Vinoth. In this film, along with Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamita Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Priyamani and Naren will be seen in lead roles. The audio launch event of this film will be telecast on Zee Tamil on 4 January 2026. ‘Jana Nayakan’ will be released in theaters on January 9, 2026, on the occasion of Pongal, on the same day, Prabhas’s ‘The Raja Saab’ and Sivakarthiken’s ‘Parasakthi’ are also releasing.
