Despite the defeat, Sri Lankan women also made their highest score
Chasing the inaccessible target, the Sri Lankan team reached 191 runs for six wickets despite the half-century of captain Chamri Atapattu (52 runs, 37 balls, three sixes, three fours) and partnerships of 59 runs on the first wicket with Hasini Perera (33 runs, 20 balls, seven fours) and 57 runs on the second wicket with Imesha Dulani (29 runs, 28 balls, three fours). Could. However, during this period, Sri Lanka also made its highest score in this format. For India, left-arm spinners Vaishnavi Sharma and Arudhanti Reddy took two wickets each for 24 and 42 runs respectively. Shri Charani also took one wicket for 46 runs. However, fielding will be a matter of concern for India as their fielders dropped many catches.
India’s biggest partnership between Mandhana-Shefali
Talking about the Indian innings, Smriti, who failed in the first three matches, along with Shefali added 162 runs in just 92 balls for the first wicket, which became the biggest partnership of any wicket from India. The previous record of 143 runs was also in the name of both of them, which they had made while opening the innings against West Indies at Grass Islet in 2019.

Smriti becomes world’s fourth ten thousand batsman with new record
Talking about ‘Player of the Match’ Smriti, after scoring her 27 runs, she became the second Indian and fourth overall batsman to complete 10 thousand runs in women’s international cricket. India’s Mithali Raj, England’s Charlotte Edwards and New Zealand’s Suzie Bates have achieved this feat before. However, Smriti created a new record by achieving this feat in the minimum 281 innings. Both the teams will play the fifth and final match of the series on the same ground on December 30.
