Bollywood’s Dabangg Salman Khan is one of the few superstars in the industry. Just the name of Salman Khan was enough to make any film a hit. At one time the actor had given five consecutive blockbuster films simultaneously. This was the time when Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan were struggling to earn money for their films. In such a situation, Salman started surprising his fans with films on every Eid. For the last several years, Salman has been giving Eid to his fans by releasing films on Eid.

Wanted came on the occasion of Eid in 2009, Dabangg came on Eid in 2010, Bodyguard came on Eid in 2011, Kai Ek Tha Tiger in 2012, Kick in 2014, Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2015, Sultan in 2016, Bharat in 2019. All these films released on Eid were a blast at the box office. Due to Salman’s Eid, the makers have been avoiding releasing their film on this day. No one wants to compete with Salman on Eid. But now Salman has changed his release date by skipping Eid.

Eid of 2026 is going to be special. This Eid, there is already a clash between the two biggest films of the year. Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 is coming on the occasion of Eid on 19 March 2026. Yash starrer Toxic of KGF will be released on the same day. After the blast of Dhurandhar, the audience is waiting for Dhurandhar 2. So has the release date of Salman Khan’s film Battle of Galwan been postponed to avoid the clash with Ranveer’s Dhurandhar 2? Release date postponed to avoid clash?
Earlier, on March 19, 2026, Ajay Devgan was also going to release his Dhamaal 4 and Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal’s film Love and War, being made under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was coming. But the makers changed their release date to avoid the clash.
