14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi received Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award, honored by President Murmu

Tezzbuzz Desk- India’s young cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi is continuously scaling new heights. At the age of just 14, he has made his own identity in the world of cricket. Now he has also received a big honor from the Government of India for his brilliant performance on the field and record-breaking achievements. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been awarded the country’s highest child honour, the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award.

President Draupadi Murmu presented the award to this promising batsman from Bihar with his own hands in a special ceremony organized at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Friday, 26 December. Interestingly, during this time, Bihar team was playing its second match in Vijay Hazare Trophy, while the team’s star batsman Vaibhav had reached the capital to be a part of this historic moment.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who comes from Samastipur (Bihar), was given this honor for his extraordinary performance in the field of cricket. His exploits like becoming the youngest player to join IPL at a very young age and scoring a quick century made him a topic of discussion across the country. Due to these achievements, President Murmu honored him with the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award.

As soon as Vaibhav’s name was called from the stage, echoes of applause were heard in the entire Vigyan Bhawan. During this, Vaibhav was seen wearing an orange colored blazer and white kurta-pajama.

This honor was a proud moment not only for Vaibhav but also for the entire Suryavanshi family. Vaibhav’s elder brother Ujjwal Suryavanshi shared this happiness on social media. Posting a picture of the award ceremony on Instagram, he wrote, “It is a proud moment for us. Today Vaibhav was honored with the Children’s Award by the President of our country. The President also praised Vaibhav.”

Receiving the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award is an indication that Vaibhav Suryavanshi is not only the star of the present but is also being considered as the future of Indian cricket. This achievement at such a young age will inspire him to perform even better in the future.
