Tripura News: A shocking incident has come to light from Dhalai district of Tripura. Some people of the village dragged the woman out of the house. The villagers garlanded him with shoes and beat him severely. The woman is seriously injured.
Woman accused of extra marital affair
According to the information, the woman was accused of having an extra marital affair, due to which the villagers got angry and beat her up. As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot.
The police found the woman injured on the road and immediately admitted her to the hospital. Where his CT scan was done. Meanwhile, doctors said that the woman’s condition is out of danger.
Police registered a case
After the incident, police said that a case has been registered against some people at Kamalpur police station on Saturday. After which a person has been arrested. Also, Tripura Women’s Commission Chairperson Jharna Debbarma said that the assault and insult done to the woman is highly condemnable.
He said that no one has the right to take the law into their hands. I urge the police to take legal action against those involved in this incident.
