Rahul Baba, don’t get tired of defeat yet, you still have to lose in Tamil Nadu and Bengal…Amit Shah taunts Rahul Gandhi
Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a sharp political attack on Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. While addressing a development program in Ahmedabad, Amit Shah not only raised questions on the political strategy of Congress but also made a big claim regarding the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will once again return to power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rahul Baba, don’t get tired of defeat yet
Amit Shah had attended the inauguration ceremony of the development works of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation built at a cost of about Rs 330 crore. Speaking from the stage, he said sarcastically, “Rahul Baba, don’t get tired of losing yet. You still have to lose in Bengal and Tamil Nadu as well.” He said that the opposition will have to face more electoral defeats and it is certain that BJP will form the government again in 2029.
Modi government claims again in 2029
The Home Minister said with full confidence that in 2029 also, BJP government will be formed at the Center under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to Amit Shah, the biggest reason for this is the party’s clear principles, strong organization and connection with the public. He said that BJP does not just do power politics, but gives priority to public sentiments and national interests.
Congress opposed every major decision
In his speech, Amit Shah accused Congress of continuously opposing decisions related to national interests. He said that when Ram temple was built, Congress opposed it. Congress also raised questions on surgical strike and airstrike against Pakistan. Even when it came to removing Bangladeshi infiltrators, Congress opposed it.
Amit Shah further said that whether it was the construction of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor or the decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Congress stood in opposition at every step. Congress also adopted a negative attitude on social reform initiatives like Triple Talaq and issues like Common Civil Code.
Congress is standing against the public’s choice
The Home Minister said that Congress opposes even those decisions which are liked by the people of the country. He raised the question that when Congress stands against every popular decision, how will it get public support. Amit Shah also said that Congress’s politics is limited to opposition only and it does not have any concrete vision.
Direct jibe at Rahul Gandhi
Amit Shah also took a dig at Rahul Gandhi’s leadership abilities. He said, “I do not have the ability to convince Rahul Baba. How can I convince those whom his own party could not convince?” Through this comment, Shah pointed towards the leadership crisis within the Congress.
Atmosphere heated by political rhetoric
After these statements of Amit Shah, the rhetoric has intensified in the political circles. BJP is calling it a symbol of confidence in its policies and leadership, while Congress may call it an election statement. However, Shah’s speech has made it clear that BJP has already adopted an aggressive stance regarding the political battle of 2029.
