Smriti Mandhana-Shefali Verma created history, became the first pair in the world to do so in Women’s T20I
Smriti Mandhana-Shafali Verma Script History: In the fourth match of the five-match T20 series being played between the Indian women’s team and the Sri Lankan women’s team, the pair of Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma created history. The opening pair of the Indian women’s team crossed the 3000-run mark in Women’s T20 International cricket. They have become the first pair in the world to achieve such a feat in T20 cricket.
Apart from the pair of Shefali Verma and Smriti Mandhana, no other pair has been able to achieve this milestone in women’s T20 International cricket. Smriti Mandhana-Shefali Verma pair has scored 3,107 runs so far. In this list, the pair of Australian cricketers Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney are at the second place, who have made a partnership of 2,720 runs in T20 international cricket. India’s biggest partnership in T20 cricket
In this match being played on Sunday, Mandhana-Shefali pair scored 162 runs in 15.2 overs for the first wicket. Indian women’s team made the biggest total
After losing the toss on Sunday, the Indian team came to bat and scored 221 runs after losing 2 wickets in the stipulated overs.
