Unnao Rape Case: Clash at Jantar Mantar between Unnao rape case victim and supporters of Kuldeep Singh Sengar

People supporting the victim of 2017 Unnao Rape Case, who were protesting outside Jantar-Mantar against the Delhi High Court’s order suspending the life sentence of convict Kuldeep Singh Sengar. Along with this, there was a clash between the members of ‘Purush Aayog’ supporting former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar.

People were surprised when a woman came in support of the former BJP leader accused of rape. Holding placards in their hands, they raised slogans not only against rape accused Kuldeep Sengar but also in support of him. Now we have come to know about this woman.

The woman who came in support of Kuldeep Sengar was the only supporter. The woman is none other than Barkha Trehan, the chairperson of the men’s commission. Delhi women activist Yogita Bhayana said that only one woman has come forward in favor of Kuldeep Sengar. I think he is not mentally stable and needs treatment. She will be the first and last woman to support Kuldeep Singh Sengar. There are other people also with Barkha Trehan. During this time, there was a heated debate and clash between the protesters supporting the victim and the members of the ‘Men’s Commission’ supporting Sengar.
He stressed that we are not talking without evidence. He is a convicted rapist who has already been sentenced. We are protesting against the bail granted to him and the suspension of his sentence. Expressing concern, he said that just imagine, how much all this will depress the morale of the victim.
When will the hearing be held in the Supreme Court? Let us tell you that the Unnao rape case has now reached the doorstep of the Supreme Court of the country. The next hearing in this case will be held on Monday. According to the court’s ’cause list’, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant, Justice J.K. A three-judge vacation bench comprising Justice Maheshwari and Justice Augustine George Masih will hear the case. The Supreme Court will also hear a separate petition filed by advocates Anjale Patel and Pooja Shilpakar. In this petition too, the order of the High Court has been challenged and a demand has been made to immediately stay it.
