‘Rapid Rail Part-2’ video goes viral

The threat of the first video had not yet subsided when a second clip titled ‘Rapid Rail Part-2’ surfaced. This new video was an extension of the old incident, but it reignited the controversy. Social media users shared it extensively, due to which the matter became heated again. NCRTC immediately reacted to this and issued a statement. He clearly said that the department has already taken action, and it is not right to spread these clips again and again.

NCRTC said this

NCRTC has appealed to the passengers in clear and simple words. He has said that it is very important to follow decency and rules while traveling in public trains. If any kind of wrong or anti-social activity is seen on the train or station, it should be immediately informed to the staff or security personnel present there. It is everyone’s responsibility to keep a modern facility like Namo Bharat safe and respectable. Nigam also said that it is important to know the truth before watching or spreading any video on social media, because things that go viral do not always tell the whole truth.

Who recorded the video?

Immediate investigation by NCRTC revealed that making the video was completely against the train rules. Strict action was taken against the train operator responsible for this mistake and he was removed from the job on 3 December. After this, on December 22, DBRRTS security chief Dushyant Kumar lodged a written complaint about the matter at Muradnagar police station. Now the police is also taking action in this matter. NCRTC has made it clear that the entire matter has been handled at both the legal and departmental level.
