7 batsmen who hit the most number of sixes in international cricket this year
Cricket 29 December 2025: Most International Sixes in 2025 Abhishek Sharma, Phil Salt, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were among the many players who performed exceptionally well in 2025. Abhishek was recognized as an explosive batsman worldwide and he also became the number one T20 batsman in the ICC rankings. But you will be surprised to know that there is no Indian among the top five batsmen who hit the most international sixes in 2025. Abhishek is the only Indian in the top seven.
Karanbir Singh is the batsman who has hit the most number of sixes in Test, ODI and T20 international matches in 2025. Many cricket fans may not even know which team they play for. Faiz Ahmed is second in the list, and like Karanbir, he too is not a major league player. Abhishek Sharma has played 21 matches this year and he is sixth in the list.
Karanbir Singh is 30 years old and plays for Austria. Austria is not a big team in the cricket world. Karanbire has scored 1488 runs in 32 matches in 2025. This year he has hit 122 international sixes. You can guess all this from the fact that second place Faiz Ahmed has hit 69 sixes.
Bahrain team player 38-year-old Faiz Ahmed scored 1251 runs in 37 innings of 40 matches played in 2025. Third in this list is South Africa’s Dewald Brewis, who has hit a total of 65 sixes in 30 international matches this year.
Indian batsman Abhishek Sharma has scored 859 runs in 21 matches in 2025, which includes one century and five half-centuries. Abhishek has hit 54 sixes in international cricket this year. Seventh ranked Shai Hope has also hit the same number of sixes.
