Visit the official website of Income Tax Department.
Click on ‘Link Aadhaar’ option.
Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number.
If name and date of birth match, OTP will come.
Confirm linking by entering OTP.
If fine appears, make online payment.
After payment, PAN-Aadhaar will be linked.
The entire process takes only 2–5 minutes.
You can also link through SMS or login
Apart from this, you can also link PAN-Aadhaar by logging into the Income Tax portal. In some cases linking can also be done through SMS facility.
How to check PAN-Aadhaar link status
If you want to know whether your PAN is already linked or not, then go to the Income Tax Department website and click on the ‘Link Aadhaar Status’ option. After entering PAN and Aadhaar number, the status will appear on the screen.
