LG will launch home robot in its CES 2026 event, customers will get freedom from household chores

Home Robot LG CLOiD: LG Electronics’ CES 2026 event is scheduled to be held between January 6 and 9, 2026. In this event, the company will showcase LG Micro RGB Evo TV and its new UltrGear Evo gaming monitor. Along with this, LG will also introduce its new home robot LG CLOiD.

This home robot from LG Electronics is designed to perform a variety of tasks inside the home, making everyday life easier and improving quality of life. It reflects LG’s vision of “Zero Labor Home, Makes Quality Time”. This is a major step towards the company’s long-term goal of freeing customers from time spent on household chores.

Home robot LG CLOiD has a perfect form factor. Its two articulated arms are powered by motors that provide each with seven degrees of freedom, while five separate actuated fingers on each hand provide advanced agility, allowing CLOiD to perform delicate and precise tasks. The integrated chipset acts as the robot’s brain, and also houses a display, speakers, cameras and a variety of sensors that enable expressive communication, natural voice interaction and intelligent navigation.

The robot is powered by LG’s Affectionate Intelligence technology, and is designed to understand its surroundings, interact in a natural and user-friendly way, and improve its responses over time through repeated interactions.

It is also revealed that LG has created HS Robotics Lab within its Home Appliance Solutions company to acquire different technologies and further strengthen its core robotics capabilities and product competitiveness.
