Lucknow: The annual sports day ‘Exalt 1.0’ was organized with great enthusiasm, excitement and sportsmanship at Rajajipuram Campus II of City Montessori School. On this occasion, students of different classes participated enthusiastically and displayed their physical fitness, discipline, team spirit and sports skills.

The event started with an attractive march-past, which was followed by track and field competitions, fun races and other sports activities. Especially the enthusiasm and confidence of the little children was palpable. The children performed extremely commendably, with many of the younger children being honored for their excellent performance.
Driti Mishra, a student of class KG, also enthralled everyone with her brilliant performance and made her parents and teachers proud by receiving the honour. Such events boost the morale of children and inspire them to move forward.
The school management and teachers said in their message that sports are an integral part of the all-round development of children. Such forums develop self-confidence, discipline and a sense of healthy competition in children. Today, inspired by these events, children bring glory to the country by becoming Olympic medal winners and international players like Saina Nehwal and Sudha Singh in the future.
‘Excel 1.0′ was not only a celebration of sporting talent, but also reflected CMS’ philosophy of giving equal importance to physical, mental and moral development along with education.
