Vikram Engineering’s shares became rocket as soon as it got solar project, know how many hundred crores is its market capitalization

Vikram Engineering Share: Heavy buying was seen in the shares of civil construction company Vikram Engineering Limited on Monday. In early trading, the stock reached a high of ₹110.35 on BSE, up 9.5 percent from its previous closing price. The market capitalization of the company increased to more than ₹ 2700 crore.

This surge came after the announcement that Vikram Engineering has received contracts from MP Urja Vikas Nigam Limited to set up grid-connected solar power projects with a total capacity of 45.75 MW (AC) in Madhya Pradesh.

These contracts are related to setting up solar photovoltaic power plants under the Surya Mitra Agricultural Feeder Scheme. This includes feeder solarization under the PM-KUSUM programme.

The company said in its exchange filing that the electricity generated from these projects will be sold to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL). These projects will be set up in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh. Vikram Engineering will be responsible for the installation and operation of the solar plant as a renewable power generator.

Vikram Engineering said that these contracts have been given by a domestic company and their duration is 25 years. The tariff for the projects has been fixed between ₹2.75 to ₹2.80 per unit. These projects are part of efforts to promote feeder-level solarization for agricultural power supply and reduce dependence on conventional energy sources in the state.

Vikram Engineering shares rose 19 percent in a week

In the last one week, the share price of Vikram Engineering has increased by 19 percent. The face value of the company is ₹1. By the end of September 2025, promoters held 56.17 percent stake in the company. The company was listed in the stock market in September 2025.

The company’s ₹772 crore IPO was subscribed 24.87 times. Earlier, Vikram Engineering had received a contract worth ₹459.2 crore from NTPC Renewable Energy. This contract pertains to EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) work on balance-of-system basis for 400 MW AC Solar Project at Chitrakoot-1, Uttar Pradesh.

Financial performance of the company

Talking about the financial position of the company, its standalone revenue in the July-September 2025 quarter was ₹ 176.29 crore, whereas in the June quarter it was ₹ 159.16 crore. The company’s net profit in the September 2025 quarter stood at ₹ 9.14 crore, while in the June quarter it was ₹ 5.65 crore.

Vikram Engineering’s revenue increased by 17 percent to ₹ 922.36 crore in the financial year 2025. At the same time, net profit increased by 4 percent to ₹77.82 crore.
