Samsung launches new Q-Series Soundbars, Wi-Fi speakers ahead of CES 2026
Samsung Monday unveiled its 2026 audio device lineup featuring two new Q-Series Soundbars, the latest Music Studio Wi-Fi speakers, enhanced Q-Symphony technology for compatibility, and more.
The South Korean electronics giant said its next-generation soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers have been designed to deliver richer immersion, clean expression, and more unified multi-device performance.
Samsung’s announcement comes just days before the CES 2026, one of the world’s largest tech trade shows, which is scheduled to kick off in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 6 and run through January 9.
“For more than a decade, Samsung has shaped the evolution of home audio through advanced acoustics, intelligent features and thoughtful design. We’re continuing that legacy with next-generation sound devices designed to deliver a rich, expressive performance for any space and moment,” Hun Lee, Executive Vice President (Visual Display Business), Samsung Electronics, said in a statement.
Here are all the latest models joining Samsung’s expanded range of sound devices that will be showcased at CES next year.
Q-Series Soundbars
Samsung has refreshed its Q-Series Soundbars with two new models: its flagship Soundbar, the HW-Q990H, and a new All-in-One soundbar.
The HW-Q990H model is an 11.1.4-channel system that combines a 7.0.2 main bar, 4.0.2 rear speakers, and a dual 8-inch driver built into a compact active subwoofer, along with up-firing channels and AI tuning to deliver a home theatre-like experience. It debuts Samsung’s Sound Elevation technology that lifts dialogue toward the centre of the screen for more natural-sounding audio. The soundbar also comes with auto volume, which maintains consistent volume across channels and content.

Meanwhile, Samsung’s All-in-One Soundbar (HW-QS90H model) boasts a Convertible Fit design, meaning it can be wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop. It has a built-in gyro sensor that automatically adapts channel distribution based on its orientation, Samsung said.
The 7.1.2-channel system has 13 drivers — including nine wide-range speakers — and a built-in Quad Bass Woofer system, eliminating the need for a separate subwoofer to deliver deeper bass.
Music Studio Wi-Fi speakers
Samsung’s two new Wi-Fi speakers, the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, have a timeless dot design conceptualised by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec and in line with the tech giant’s signature aesthetic.
Music Studio 7 delivers 3.1.1-channel spatial audio through left-, front-, right-, and top-firing speakers for natural 3D immersion. It boasts Samsung’s Audio Lab Pattern Control to signal overlap for cleaner directionality, AI Dynamic Bass Control for deep bass with minimal distortion, and Hi-Resolution Audio, which enables audio processing up to 24-bit/96kHz.

Available in black and white, Music Studio 7 can either be used as a standalone speaker or paired with a Samsung TV and additional units via the company’s Q-Symphony feature.
Music Studio 5 is a smaller speaker than the Studio 7 and is designed for homes and other interior spaces. It uses a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters with a built-in waveguide for clear, balanced sound. Similar to the premium version, Music Studio 5 also offers Audio Lab Pattern Control and AI Dynamic Bass Control. Besides Wi-Fi casting, it also has voice control and Bluetooth via Samsung Seamless Codec.
To connect and operate Samsung TVs, soundbars, and Wi-Fi speakers as a unified setup, Samsung has upgraded its Q-Symphony platform, which now lets users pair up to 5 sound devices with a Samsung TV. Q-Symphony can also analyse the room layout and device placement to optimise channel distribution for a surround sound experience.
The company has also upgraded its SmartThings app to let users control sound settings, manage group playback, and access music streaming and voice assistant features from any connected mobile device.
