Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar made a big revelation on India’s Operation Vermillion, gave information about the attack with 80 drones.

Pakistan has not yet recovered completely after India’s Operation Sindoor. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar himself has admitted that on May 10, India had attacked Pakistan’s Noor Khan airbase. Along with this, Dar gave detailed information about the attacks carried out by India during Operation Sindoor. Dar said that within 36 hours India had attacked Pakistan with 80 drones.

Dar said that in the month of May, Pakistan had not made any formal appeal for mediation between India and Pakistan. However, he claimed that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan had expressed their desire for talks with India. India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, which was aimed at retaliating against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In this operation, India targeted terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. These attacks were followed by four days of heavy clashes between the two countries, and an agreement was finally reached to stop military action on 10 May.

Dar said that during Operation Sindoor, 79 out of 80 drones sent by India were intercepted by Pakistan within 36 hours. After this, on May 10, India attacked Noor Khan airbase, after which Pakistan retaliated. Dar said that on May 10 at around 8:17 am, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had called him, in which he talked about India agreeing to the ceasefire and asked whether Pakistan would agree to it. Dar said about this conversation that he replied to the US minister that Pakistan never wanted war. After this, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal contacted him and asked for permission to talk to India, due to which ceasefire was later agreed upon.

Ishaq Dar also claimed that Pakistan had shot down seven Indian jets during the 7 May fighting, although he did not present any concrete evidence to support this. He also reiterated Pakistan’s point that lasting peace in the region is possible only through resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
