Mumbai The makers have released the first look of actress Huma Qureshi from next year’s film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. She is playing the character named Elizabeth in this action-thriller film starring Yash starrer. On Sunday, the makers shared the poster on their Instagram account. Actor Yash is in the lead role in the film. In the poster, Gangs of Wasseypur actress Huma Qureshi is seen standing in a graveyard, with old graves and stone statues in the background. The actress in black clothes is standing next to a vintage black car. His look indicates a calm but serious character.

The film Toxic A Fairytale for Grown-ups is directed by Geetu Mohandas. Talking about casting Huma Qureshi in the film, the director said that it was a difficult role to cast and it required a strong performer. He said that the actress breathed life into the character as soon as she came on screen. The character required a performer with high-octane abilities and a commanding presence. The moment Huma came into my frame, I knew there was something special about her. There was an effortless sophistication and intensity about him. Which immediately brought the character of Elizabeth to life for me. Mohandas said that this film is Yash’s return to the big screen after KGF Chapter 2 movie. The project has been in the news for a long time and is being made in both Kannada and English languages. Dubbed versions in several Indian languages are also planned. The film is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas. Venkat K. Narayan and Yash have produced under KVN Productions (Venkat K. Narayan and Yash produced KVN Productions) and Monster Mind Creations. The technical team includes Rajiv Ravi cinematographer, Ravi Basrur music composer and Ujjwal Kulkarni editor. The film ‘Toxic A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is scheduled to be released in theaters on 19 March 2026 on the occasion of Eid.
