Haryana News: There was a sensation in Bhatla village of Hansi area of Haryana on Monday morning when dead bodies of a couple were found in a room. Initial investigation has revealed that the husband first murdered his wife and then committed suicide by hanging himself. As soon as information about the incident was received, Sadar police station and forensic team reached the spot and investigation has been started.
The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Rakesh and his 27-year-old wife Seema, residents of village Bhatla. Both of them got married about six years ago. The couple has two daughters, the age of one is said to be four years and the age of the other is said to be around two and a half years. Rakesh used to work in a cold drink factory located in Hansi.
According to family members, when they opened the door of the room at around 9 am on Monday morning, they were shocked to see the scene inside. Seema’s body was lying on the bed, while Rakesh’s body was found hanging. After this the police was immediately informed.
Sadar police station in-charge Sumer Singh said that in the primary investigation the case seems to be a case of suicide after murder, but the investigation is being done keeping all the aspects in mind. The forensic team has collected evidence from the spot. Both the bodies have been sent to the civil hospital, where the exact cause of death will be confirmed after post-mortem.
There is an atmosphere of mourning in the village after the incident. Everyone is shocked by the loss of their parents from the heads of two innocent girls. Police say that further action will be taken on the basis of post mortem report and statement of family members.
