Washington. US President Donald Trump has once again taken a tough stance regarding Iran. Trump has warned that if Iran tries to establish its ballistic missile program again, the US could launch a military attack on it again.
Speaking to the media ahead of a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump said, “We are getting news that Iran is again trying to strengthen its program. If that happens, we will have to stop it again. We will take strong action.”
Trump also made it clear that if Iran takes steps towards re-developing its nuclear program, the US will immediately support the attack. He advised Iran that it would be wiser to adopt the path of compromise with America instead of confrontation.
The President said, “It would be better for them to compromise. Earlier also they had a chance, but then they did not do so and then they had to face a big attack.”
It is noteworthy that this year America had bombed three nuclear facilities of Iran, which Trump had described as a major military success. In recent weeks, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu claimed that Iran was once again expanding its ballistic missile program. In such a situation, it is believed that Netanyahu can advocate for Trump to take more stringent steps on this issue.
