Air India Air Hostess Dies After Sudden Breathing Distress in Gurugram; Probe Underway

A 25-year-old air hostess employed with Air India died after reportedly experiencing breathing difficulties while visiting a friend in Gurugrampolice said on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Simran Dadwala native of MohaliAccording to police, she had arrived at her friend Nitika’s residence in DLF Phase 1 on Saturday night to attend a party, where several other friends were also present,
Police officials said that following a late-night gathering involving alcohol consumption, the group went to sleep. In the early hours of Sunday, around 5 am, Simran reportedly complained of acute breathing difficulty and alerted her friends. She was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Upon receiving information, the police reached the hospital, took custody of the body, and initiated legal proceedings. A postmortem examination was conducted, after which the body was handed over to the family.
Officials confirmed that viscera samples have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory Madhuban for analysis. Police said the investigation is ongoing and the exact cause of death will be determined after the forensic report is received.
