Arsenal ready to act in January as Arteta targets title push

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that the Premier League leaders will be active in the January transfer window as they look to strengthen the squad and maintain their title charge this season. Speaking in comments shared by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arteta made it clear that the club are alert to opportunities and prepared to act if the right players become available.

“We will be actively looking to strengthen the squad in January,” Arteta said, underlining Arsenal’s ambition at the top of the table. While the Spaniard stopped short of naming specific targets, he acknowledged that much would depend on market conditions and player availability. “Depending on the availability of certain players, the window is there. We’re Arsenal and we have to be looking at it,” he added.

Arsenal have enjoyed a strong campaign so far, showing consistency, tactical maturity and squad depth as they set the pace in the title race. However, with the second half of the season approaching and challenges on multiple fronts, Arteta is keen to ensure his side are fully prepared for what lies ahead.

“Our job is to be very prepared because something can happen,” Arteta said, hinting at the unpredictable nature of the January window.
