This former England player wanted to go to WWE Gujarati
Former great England player Andrew Flintoff has made a big revelation. Flintoff has revealed that, after retiring from cricket, he received a big offer from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Flintoff got an offer from WWE to fight in big events like Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Flintoff came very close to signing a contract to fight The Undertaker in WWE. Flintoff also trained at WWE’s Performance Center in Tampa.
When Flintoff retired from cricket in 2010, he had no idea what to do. During this time he received an offer from WWE. Flintoff said during a podcast, “I was on a break for a while, I was thinking what do I do next? There were some offers from TV. But that was never the plan. I almost got signed to WWE.”
“The reality was that in Dubai I became so unfit, I gained weight and became unfit, I wanted to get fit again, but I needed motivation. I loved WWE as a child, so this idea came to my mind because I was doing ‘League of Their Own’ with Sky Network to fight The Undertaker in Manchester. I wrote this treatment and pitched the idea to the channel, to pick up the pace. And the next minute it was given to WWE, I contacted WWE and Vince McMahon.”
Flintoff further said that WWE had sent him to the WWE Academy. Flintoff trained there for two weeks. After this, he received a mail from WWE for a three-year contract. He also got an offer from WWE to fight in Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. But he had to reject this offer because his children did not want to go to America. He wanted to play cricket. Flintoff did not disclose the exact amount, but said it was a lot of money.
