Big announcement of Punjab Board: 10th-12th practical datesheet released, exam will start on this day – see complete schedule
Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially released the datesheet of practical examinations of class 10th and 12th for the session 2025–26. With this announcement, the preparation of lakhs of students of Punjab has now reached the final stage. According to the board, this year around 7 lakh students are going to appear in the board examinations.

As per the schedule released by PSEB, practical examinations will be conducted from February 2 to February 12, 2026 across Punjab. The board has made it clear that practical exams will be mandatory for all concerned students and will be completed within the stipulated time.

Punjab School Education Board has informed that the practical examinations of all subjects of class 10th and 12th will start from February 2 as per the scheduled schedule and will continue till February 12, 2026. These examinations will be conducted in all the recognized schools of the state.
All students from regular to open school will be included
The board has clarified that practical examinations will not be limited to regular students only. This will also include open school students, compartment or re-appear students, students taking additional subjects, students pursuing performance improvement and vocational or NSQF courses. According to PSEB, practicals of all subjects of both class 10th and 12th will be conducted compulsorily.
Strict instructions given to schools
PSEB has instructed all school heads and principals to inform students about the practical exam schedule in a timely and accurate manner. The board has warned that any negligence in providing information can deprive students of the examination. It has also been said that the school management, teachers and students should conduct the practical examinations properly with mutual coordination.

Written examinations will be held after practicals
After the completion of practical examinations, written board examinations of class 10th and 12th will be conducted. PSEB has targeted to declare the results by the end of May, so that students do not face any delay in further studies or admission in other institutions.
