Massive fires at three places in Jaipur, from a JCB plant to a coaching center burnt down

Jaipur Fire: The last nine hours have been a nightmare for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Three major fire incidents have raised serious questions about the city’s safety systems. First, goods worth millions of rupees were destroyed in a fire at a JCB plant in Jaipur. Now, fires at a coaching institute in Mahesh Nagar, a residential apartment in Karni Vihar, and a JCB warehouse on Ajmer Road have plunged the entire city into panic.
Fire at Coaching Institute, Lives Narrowly Saved
Late Monday night, around 9 PM, a transformer in Sultan Nagar, Mahesh Nagar, short-circuited with a loud explosion. Sparks from the explosion reached a nearby coaching institute, causing a massive fire. Students were present in the institute at the time.

Within moments, smoke filled the library and classrooms. Police and firefighters took charge and safely evacuated the children trapped on the upper floors through a back exit using a tin shed. However, students’ books and furniture were destroyed in the fire.
Apartment Rocked by Cylinder Explosion
In the afternoon, a massive fire broke out in a flat at Vinayak Apartment in Karni Vihar. During the rescue operation, a gas cylinder exploded. The flames intensified, becoming even more ferocious. Head Constable Shankar Lal, who was involved in the rescue efforts, fainted and was admitted to SMS Hospital.

The Civil Defense team acted swiftly and safely evacuated more than 50 people trapped in the apartment. The explosion was so powerful that a wall of the flat collapsed.
