New Delhi: Quick commerce apps have rapidly changed shopping habits in India. The promise of delivery in 10 minutes has made people dependent on these apps for everything from grocery to daily use items. In this series, Zepto’s latest trends report has come out, in which the ordering habits of users during 2025 have been revealed.
According to the report, the most ordered product on Zepto in 2025 was milk. In big cities like Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Hyderabad, there has been a huge increase in the demand for milk as well as snacks, drinks and daily needs.
Best selling products on Zepto in 2025
According to Zepto’s report, people’s preferences were different in different cities.
88 lakh units of Nandini Milk and 21 lakh units of Bingo Chips were ordered in Bengaluru during 2025.
90 lakh units of Amul Milk and 17 lakh units of Bisleri were sold in Mumbai.
In Delhi-NCR, there was demand for 72 lakh units of Amul Fresh Milk and 23 lakh units of Lays.
56 lakh units of Heritage Milk, 26 lakh units of Bingo and 1.46 lakh units of Thums Up were ordered in Hyderabad.
Most Clubbed Items
It has also been told in the report which products were ordered the most simultaneously.
Snacks and condoms were ordered together a total of 37,193 times in Mumbai.
Coffee and Melatonin Gummies was clubbed 5,279 times in Bengaluru.
In Delhi-NCR, Eno and Schezwan chutney were ordered together 3,759 times.
Sugar-free products and sweets were clubbed 682 times in Hyderabad.
People’s favorite things in 2025
Zepto’s data also revealed that demand for certain products remained at record levels.
69,177 Type-C charging cables were ordered in Bengaluru.
Consumption of 7,84,637 liters of energy drinks was recorded in Mumbai.
1,31,764 face masks were ordered in Delhi-NCR.
4,41,821 units of guava were ordered in North Delhi and 3,18,552 units of avocado were ordered in South Delhi.
65,105 kg Osmania biscuits were sold in Hyderabad.
Why is Quick Commerce becoming the first choice?
Due to delivery in 10 minutes, essential goods at home and increasing digital habits, quick commerce apps like Zepto are fast becoming the first choice of people. This report of 2025 clearly shows that quick grocery shopping in urban India has no longer become a trend but a necessity.
