Motorola Signature Launch Date In India: Motorola Launched its upcoming premium smartphone Motorola Signature The launch date in India has been confirmed. According to the official announcement of the company, this smartphone will be launched in the Indian market on January 7, 2026. Ahead of the launch, the curiosity about the handset has increased because the company has shown a glimpse of its design and camera capabilities through social media posts and Flipkart microsite.

Design confirmation from Flipkart microsite

Motorola Signature is being positioned as a premium offering. The complete specifications of the phone have not been disclosed in the live microsite on Flipkart, but important information related to its design has definitely been revealed. The handset has a fabric-finished rear panel, which makes it different from other smartphones.

The phone will have a flat display, with uniform thin bezels all around and a hole-punch slot in the middle for the front camera. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right side, while there is an additional button on the left side, which can be used as a camera control button or a customizable shortcut key for AI access and other functions.

Powerful camera with periscope lens

Motorola has also given a glimpse of the rear camera module of the signature smartphone. It is clear from the released teaser image that the phone will be provided with a periscope telephoto lens, which is usually seen only in top-end flagship smartphones. This is expected to bring major improvements in zoom photography and low-light performance.

Performance hints from Geekbench listing

Motorola Signature has also been spotted earlier on the Geekbench benchmarking site. Here this phone scored 2,854 points in single-core test and 9,411 points in multi-core test. The listing shows a CPU with two cores clocked at 3.80GHz and six cores clocked at 3.32GHz and Adreno 829 GPU, which points towards a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Along with this, information about 16GB RAM and out-of-the-box Android 16 support has also been revealed.

Possible features and color options

According to previous leaked reports, Motorola Signature can come in Carbon and Martini Olive color options with stylus support. Its triple rear camera setup is expected to have a 50MP primary Sony Lytia sensor, which will support optical image stabilization.
