Humane Sagar’s Death: Arpita Choudhury Seeks Anticipatory Bail
The death of renowned Odia singer Humane Sagar has taken a new turn after fellow singer Arpita Choudhury and music director Somesh Satpathy approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
The move came after Humane’s mother, Shefali Suna, filed a complaint at Markatnagar police station. She alleged that Arpita, Somesh, and seven others were responsible for her son’s death. Moreover, she accused them of physically and mentally torturing Humane, which she claimed led to his demise. The complaint also alleged that financial motives were behind their actions.
According to reports, Humane Sagar passed away on November 17 while undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. His untimely death sent shockwaves across the Odia music industry, where he was celebrated for his soulful voice and wide fan following.
Furthermore, the case has drawn significant public attention, with many awaiting the High Court’s decision on the anticipatory bail plea. The investigation continues as authorities examine the allegations and circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.
