Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife Kalpana Soren had a courtesy meeting with President Draupardi Murmu at Lok Bhavan. On the last day of the President’s three-day visit to Jharkhand, the Chief Minister arrived to meet his wife and Gandey MLA Kalpana Soren. During this, discussions were held regarding the development works of Jharkhand. The Chief Minister informed the President about the ongoing development works in the state.

Before the new year, Hemant Soren is giving the gift of government job, will give appointment letters to 1910 candidates.
The President will be on Gumla tour on Tuesday. During this, she will first reach Pankhraj Saheb Kartik Oraon Chowk located at Majhitoli in Raidih, Gumla, where she will garland the statue of late Kartik Oraon. After this, she will participate in Kartik Jatra, an inter-state mass cultural gathering. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Manjhi will participate in the program. After this, she will reach Birsa Munday Airport in Ranchi at 2.45 pm and will directly leave for New Delhi by Air Force plane.
