Stone pelting over wall dispute in Mukundgarh, mother and daughter injured

Two parties clashed in a dispute over land route in Mukundgarh. A woman and her daughter were injured in stone pelting. Police have restrained both the parties. The matter is already going on in the court.

jhunjhunu: A dispute over an old road suddenly turned violent on Monday afternoon in Mukundgarh police station area of ​​Jhunjhunu district. There was a long standing dispute between Santosh Kumawat and Sahiram regarding the route emerging from the ground. It has been told that there was a path running through Santosh Kumawat’s farm for about 20-25 years, which Sahiram used to reach the house built in his farm.

Some time ago, Santosh Kumawat closed this route, due to which the dispute increased and the matter reached the court. Despite the case being pending in the court, tension remained between the two parties.

Stone pelting during wall construction

On Monday, Santosh Kumawat was building a wall in his field. Seeing this, Sahiram reached there with his family and accompanying people and started opposing the construction of the wall. It is alleged that people from Sahiram Paksha tried to break the wall being built on the road.

Meanwhile, the altercation escalated and soon stone pelting started between the two parties. Stones were thrown heavily from both sides, causing chaos on the spot.

Mother and daughter also injured

Santosh Kumawat’s mother Kamala Devi and sister Gunjan suffered serious head and body injuries during stone pelting. When a stone hit the head of an elderly woman, she started bleeding and her face became stained with blood. Seeing this scene the children present at the spot started crying.

Local people somehow managed the situation by intervening and immediately took the injured to the hospital. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and interrogated both the parties.

Police officer Tarachand told that both the parties had come to the police station, where they were given advice and restrained. Since the matter is pending in the court, both have been given strict instructions to maintain peace. At present the police has emphasized on maintaining law and order.
