Real sister ran away with sick brother’s Rs 1.40 crore, he was undergoing treatment in the hospital!

Mayank Trigun, Bureau Chief, Moradabad: A sensational case has come to light from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, which has raised questions on the sacred relationship between brother and sister. Here a real sister took advantage of the helplessness of her sick brother in such a way that the ground slipped under the feet of the listeners. When the brother was swinging between life and death on the hospital bed, his own sister and brother-in-law together robbed his bank account and in no time the amount crossed Rs 1 crore 40 lakh.

Murder of trust: When protectors became predators

This entire incident took place in Preet Vihar Colony of Majhola police station area of Moradabad. Manoj Rastogi, a famous businessman living here, had fallen seriously ill recently. He was admitted to a private hospital on Delhi Road for treatment. In this hour of crisis, Manoj expressed unwavering trust in his real sister Seema and brother-in-law Jitesh. He handed over his mobile phone and digital access to her, thinking that his family would be his biggest strength behind him. But little did they know that their trust would take away their hard-earned money.

Bank account emptied in 7 installments

According to the complaint given to the police, when Manoj was struggling to save his life in the hospital, Seema and Jitesh gained access to his phone’s banking apps and digital wallet. Between December 17 and December 24, when Manoj’s condition was very critical, the accused executed the conspiracy very cleverly. They stole crores of rupees from Manoj’s account through a total of 7 transactions. The surprising thing is that even after being discharged from the hospital on December 18, the accused did not return his phone to Manoj, so that Manoj could not see the messages of money being deducted.

Businessman shocked after seeing bank statement

After a lot of pressure, when Manoj got his phone back on December 25, the first thing he did was check his bank balance. As soon as he saw the account balance, he lost his senses. Rs 1.40 crore was missing from his account. When Manoj immediately reached the bank and got the statement issued, the truth came out. All the money was transferred to the bank account of his own sister Seema Rastogi. The sister for whose safety the brother prayed had taken advantage of her brother’s illness and made preparations to bring her on the streets.

Case registered in cyber police station, now accused will be behind bars

After this big deception, the victim businessman Manoj Rastogi gathered courage and lodged a complaint with the cyber crime portal as well as the local police station.
