Junior NTR spoke on the decision of Delhi High Court, thanked for the protection of personality rights.

Telugu superstar **Junior NTR** (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr.) expressed his gratitude through

In his post, he wrote: “I thank the Honorable Delhi High Court for granting the protective order to protect my personality rights in today’s digital age. My heartfelt appreciation to Supreme Court lawyers Dr. Balajanaki Srinivasan and Dr. Alka Dakar, as well as Mr. Rajendra and the team at Rights & Marks for their dedicated legal assistance. Very grateful for your unwavering support. #Justice #PersonalityRights #DigitalAge.”

In Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora’s decision, the Court prohibited the unauthorized commercial use of Jr. NTR’s name, image, appearance, voice, style, nicknames (e.g., “Man of Mass,” “Young Tiger”), and attributes—including through AI, deepfakes, or merchandise—without consent. It issued a John Doe order, directing the platform to remove the infringing content within 72 hours.

Jr NTR had filed the suit in early December 2025, citing misuse of e-commerce and social media for commercial gain. This follows a growing trend of Indian celebrities demanding similar protections amid rising AI and digital exploitation.

Earlier in 2025, the Hyderabad City Civil Court on September 26 had granted an ad-interim injunction to veteran actor **Chiranjeevi Konidela**, protecting his name, image, voice and titles like “Mega Star” from unauthorized use.

Jr NTR’s move is in line with the cases involving Nagarjuna, Salman Khan and other celebrities in the Delhi High Court.
