Politics seems to be heated in the state regarding the ambitious “Durga Aangan” project of Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee gave an emotional reaction to the allegations against her and described herself as a true secular. The Chief Minister told that when she goes to Roza feast, people have objections. Mamata Banerjee said, “I am accused of appeasement, but I do not appease anyone. I am truly secular. You cannot show me any religion whose programs I do not attend.” He also answered the questions raised regarding attending the Iftar party.

The Chief Minister said, “When I go to Gurudwara, I cover my head, then why is there an objection to doing so during Roza. Today I have come here, that is why I am wearing a shawl, because Hindu women also cover their heads or veil in religious functions. This is our culture. Every religion has its own rules.”
Destroy the demon, bring back humanity, Mamata Banerjee
Mamta Banerjee alleged that some people want to destroy everything. She became emotional on stage and said, “I want to pray to Maa Durga, Mahishasurmardini to destroy the demon and bring back humanity. More than 50 people have died so far.” In the same program, Mamata Banerjee laid the foundation stone of Durga Aangan complex in Kolkata. He told that this will be the world’s largest Durga Aangan, where Maa Durga can be seen 365 days of the year. The area of this complex will be around two lakh square feet and one lakh devotees will be able to come here daily.
There was no tender, no work order – Suvendu Adhikari

Meanwhile, opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari made serious allegations against this project. He said that this land was earmarked for industry, but the government chased away the industries. Neither was there any tender nor there was any work order. He called this scheme completely fake. Senior BJP leader Shishir Bajoria also claimed internal strife in Trinamool Congress. He says that the bad days of TMC have begun.
