Indigenous to MapMyIndia Digital Mapping And users of the navigation app, Maples, will be able to access metro, rail and bus route information within the app. MapMyIndia said that this new feature will enable private and public transport experiences in a single app. According to an announcement released on Tuesday, the company is expanding its capabilities by including multimodal public transport routes. It is believed that the inclusion of this feature will further strengthen Maples’ position as a comprehensive and multimodal mobility platform.

With this new feature, passengers can now view public transport routes, stations, stops and interchange options, making it easier for them. The company says this will help travelers plan more efficient and sustainable journeys.

Know which cities have launched this service..

These multimodal public transport routes have been launched in select cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Indore, Patna, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Jaipur, Kochi and Bhopal.

This feature is available on iOS and web versions.

According to the company, this feature is currently available on the iOS and web versions of Maples. There are plans to bring the multimodal public transport route feature to Android soon. Maples said its user base has already exceeded 40 million, and the expanded public transport service aims to improve daily mobility for urban commuters.

Using the Maples app, easily find and navigate your way with live traffic updates, turn-by-turn voice-guided directions and ETA. In addition, Maple has a digital address and location identification system, Maple ID, which helps travelers reach their destinations easily.
