Chinese experts said regarding the film, the film has no impact on our holy land.
Regarding Salman Khan’s film, Chinese media said, most people in China know Salman Khan for the film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman Khan is playing the role of Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu in the film Battle of Galwan. Indian media claims that this character plays an important role in the Galwan Valley conflict of 2020.
Only after the release of the teaser of the film, reactions have started coming from China and questions are being raised on the facts of the film. A Chinese expert said that Bollywood films are mostly based on emotions and entertainment, but no amount of exaggerated film can change history nor weaken the determination of the Chinese Army (PLA) to defend its territory.
There is a lot of discussion going on in China regarding the film. Meanwhile, Chinese users are commenting on social media. A user on Chinese site Weibo wrote that this overdramatic Indian film is completely contrary to the facts. According to China, Galwan Valley falls on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and Chinese soldiers have been patrolling there for a long time. The ministry claims that India first changed the situation by building roads and structures and crossed the LAC, after which tension increased.
China says that on June 15, 2020, Indian soldiers again crossed the LAC in violation of the agreement and attacked Chinese soldiers who had come for talks, leading to violent clashes and casualties on both sides. Where according to Australian newspaper The Collection, 38 Chinese soldiers were killed in Galwan. At the same time, according to China, four of its soldiers were killed in this clash and 20 Indian soldiers died.
Chinese military expert Song Zhongping said that inciting nationalist sentiments through films in India is not a new thing. But, truth cannot be changed through films. He says that in the Galwan incident, India crossed the border first and the Chinese army protected its territory.
