BJP government of this state in danger? The discord between the Minister and the Chief Minister is out in the open; front against the chief
Haryana Minister Anil Vij Exposes Scam in State: There has been an earthquake in the politics of Haryana. Sounds of rebellion and echoes of a mega scam are being heard within the BJP government itself. State’s powerful cabinet minister Anil Vij has exposed a scam of Rs 1500 crore in the Labor Department, putting his own government in the dock. Vij has written a letter directly to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini demanding an investigation by an independent and big agency. After this revelation there has been a stir in the political circles.
This entire matter is related to the Labor Department, where a big game has been played in the name of work slip i.e. work receipt. Anil Vij has revealed that ineligible people were given the benefits of government schemes by committing fraud in Haryana Bhavan and other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Villages after villages were registered fraudulently. In the initial investigation itself, this scam is expected to reach Rs 1500 crore, causing huge loss to the government exchequer.
The truth about millions of fake registrations
According to the information given by Vij, very shocking figures have emerged in the investigation. When about 6 lakh work slips were examined in 13 districts of Haryana, out of which more than 5 lakh 46 thousand receipts were found invalid. That means only 53 thousand receipts were found correct. Not only this, in the investigation of registration of 2.25 lakh workers, about 1 lakh 93 thousand people were found to be fake. This game was going on in full swing in districts like Karnal, Gurugram, Nuh and Rohtak between August 2023 and March 2025.

Greed and loot of two and a half lakhs
The real objective of this fraud was to eat the cream of government schemes. In the name of a fake worker, Rs 36 thousand for maternity benefit, Rs 20 thousand for children’s education and Rs 51 thousand for scholarship were being withdrawn. On an average, the government was being defrauded to the tune of Rs 2.5 lakh in the name of a fake worker. After the irregularities found in Hisar, Jind and Faridabad, Minister Anil Vij has started digging the roots of this game in the entire state by forming committees of District Deputy Commissioners.
