Measurement of graveyard land in Sambhal is complete, DM and SP disclosed deficiencies found.
New Delhi. The measurement work of cemetery land in Sambhal, UP was done today by the district administration. During the violence that took place in Sambhal on November 24 last year, stones were pelted at the police from the houses adjacent to the cemetery. During the measurement of the land, Sambhal DM Rajendra Pensia and SP Krishna Kumar Vishnoi themselves were also present there. After the completion of the measurement work, the DM gave information about what flaws were found in the investigation and what further action will be taken by the administration.

DM Rajendra Pensia said, we had received a complaint about encroachment on the cemetery land. Data number 32/2 falls in a total of 8 bighas, out of which more than 2.5 bighas of land has been encroached upon by people by building houses and shops. Today it was investigated, a total of 22 people were found to be in possession of the land. A case will be registered in this regard under section 68. Everyone can present their side and submit their documents, further action will be taken in this order. DM said that the nature of public land can never be changed nor can its land use be changed. If anyone has such documents they can show them. The documents will be examined and action will be taken accordingly. It is the responsibility of the administration to remove encroachment.

In this case, SP Krishna Kumar Vishnoi said, a few days ago a complaint was made by a person about encroachment on the cemetery land. The team will send a notice to the people whose possession has been found during measurement. ASP Alok Bhati has been given the responsibility to check his documents. This investigation will be completed in seven days and after that legal action will be ensured.
