Motorola Signature launch date set for India: What to expect from the new premium phone
Motorola’s upcoming high-end smartphone, the Motorola Signature, will be introduced on January 7, 2026, according to the brand’s social media account.
Motorola has already started teasing key elements of the Signature’s design. The company has confirmed that the phone will feature a fabric-style finish, a material choice aimed at setting it apart visually and tactually from conventional glass-backed flagships. Promotional images also reveal a flat display with a centrally placed cut-out for the selfie camera.
Button placement offers another hint that Motorola is experimenting with usability. The power button and volume rockers sit on the right edge, while the left side appears to house an additional button. This extra key is widely expected to be customisable, similar to shortcut buttons on devices from Apple, OnePlus, and Nothing, allowing users to access features or apps more quickly.
While Motorola has not disclosed internal specifications, reports suggest that the Motorola Signature is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and Adreno 829 GPU.
To further solidify its flagship status, the device is also expected to come with 16GB of RAM. The Signature is expected to run the Hello UI, based on Android 16.
According to leaks, the Motorola Signature will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, delivering sharp visuals and vibrant colours.
Camera performance is likely to be a significant selling point.
The phone is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, potentially led by three 50MP sensors, including a telephoto lens. If accurate, this could make the Signature a strong contender for users who prioritise photography.
According to tipster information, the Motorola Signature may launch in Carbon and Martini Olive colour options.
Given that this device is the first in an entirely new “Signature” series, Motorola’s pricing strategy remains unclear.
