IND W vs SL W: The 5th and last match of the T20 series was played between Team India and Sri Lanka cricket team at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Where Sri Lankan captain Chamari Atapattu won the toss and asked Team India to bat first. Indian women’s cricket team, batting first, scored 175 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Sri Lankan team could score only 160 runs and lost the fifth consecutive match.

Sri Lanka lost its 5th consecutive match

For Sri Lanka, which came to chase the target, opener Hasini Perera played an important inning of 65 runs in 42 balls. Which included 8 fours and 1 six. Captain Chamari Atapattu could score only 2 runs. Imesha Dulani, who came to bat at number 3, scored 50 runs in 39 balls. Apart from these two, no other batsman could play a big innings. Due to which it could score only 160 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs and lost by 15 runs. For Team India, all the bowlers took 1 wicket each. Due to which the team made a clean sweep of the series 5-0.
