A new train is going to be launched soon to connect Jharkhand with Madhya Pradesh. The Railway Ministry has issued an official notification in this regard. This decision will directly benefit thousands of passengers from both the states.
Dhanbad: A big and relief news has come out for the passengers traveling between Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh. The Railway Ministry has approved a new weekly train between Dhanbad and Bhopal. With this decision, rail connectivity between the two states will be further strengthened and trade, education, employment and tourism will also get a boost. The official notification for the new train service has been issued and it will be launched for passengers soon.
Dhanbad-Bhopal Express gets green signal
The Railway Ministry has approved the operation of train number 11631/11632 Bhopal–Dhanbad Express. This train will directly connect Dhanbad, the major industrial city of Jharkhand, and Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Till now there was a lack of direct train service between these two cities, which this new service will fulfill.
This train will prove to be especially useful for those passengers who travel between Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh for studies, job, business or family reasons.
New train will run three days a week
According to the information released by the Railways, this train will be operated three days a week.
- Bhopal to Dhanbad Trains
- monday
- Thursday
- Friday
- Dhanbad to Bhopal trains
- sunday
- Wednesday
- Saturday
This schedule will provide better options to passengers on both sides and make long distance travel more convenient.
Travel time and timetable
The timing of the new Bhopal-Dhanbad Express has also been decided keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers.
- Train will leave from Bhopal at 7:00 am
- Will reach Dhanbad next day at 7:20 am

- Train from Dhanbad will leave at 8:30 pm
- Will reach Bhopal next day at 8:55 pm
Thus, this train will connect both the cities in a journey of approximately 24 hours.
