The Pakistan team cheated the players : There is a big news about Pakistan Hockey Team. It has been alleged by the hockey players that the board has paid them much less than promised. Now those players are refusing to play in the second round of the Men’s FIH Pro League in February next year. The players have alleged that they have not been paid their full daily allowance for the matches played earlier this month.

Pakistan Hockey Board took the money

A senior Pakistan hockey player has made a serious allegation that he was promised 30,000 Pakistani Rupees (9625 Indian Rupees) per day by the Pakistan Hockey Board during the Pro League tournament in Argentina, but he has been paid only 11,000 Pakistani Rupees (3529 Indian Rupees). This means that they have been blatantly cheated by the Pakistani team.

“We were promised a daily allowance of 30,000 Pakistani rupees during the Pro League tournament in Argentina earlier this month,” said one of the players. Last week, the daily allowance was credited to our account, but only 11,000 Pakistani Rupees was credited, which is a complete fraud to the players.

Didn’t even respond…

One thing is that, surprisingly, the Pakistan Hockey Federation has said that they won’t be able to do much in the matter. While admitting that the players should have been paid so much, they are now also in denial. PHF secretary Rana Mujahid said, “According to PHF policy, players should be given an allowance of Rs 30,000 each, however, all the expenses of both the stages of the pro league hockey tournament are being borne by the PSB. So we cannot do much in this matter.” Pakistan team lost all their four matches in Argentina and will now play four matches in Australia in February. If this dispute is not resolved, it will be embarrassing for the Pakistani team.
